I Am Kalam is a film about a poor Rajasthani boy, Chhotu, who is inspired by A. P. J. Abdul Kalam. The role of Chhotu has been performed by Harsh Mayar, a Delhi slum boy.

Chhotu is an intelligent boy who belongs to a poor family in Rajasthan. Due to poverty he is forced to find work in a roadside food stall under the somewhat kind owner, Bhati. Chhotu is quick to learn and impresses Bhati with his abilities. Near the food stall is a heritage hotel in the palace of an erstwhile royal family. Chhottu strikes up friendship with the lonely prince of the royal family, but the prince is forbidden to mix with commoners by his reactionary father.

One day Chhotu is inspired by President Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam on television. Chhotu changes his name to Kalam and wants to meet the president. He studies in his spare time and writes a speech for the prince. The speech which wins first prize, but when the palace guards search Kalam’s room they find the prince’s clothes, and Kalam is framed as a thief. Kalam does not reveal the source of the clothes so as to protect the prince from his father.

Kalam hitches a ride to New Delhi where he tries to meet the president. Meanwhile, the prince tells his father that it was he who gave the clothes to Kalam and that Kalam wrote the speech which earned first prize. The nominal king realizes his mistake and sends the prince to find Kalam in New Delhi. Kalam is found near India Gate and is brought back home. The king tells him that he can study in the same school as the prince.

FOX STAR Studios is releasing ‘Force’ on Sep 16, 2011, the film stars John Abraham & Genelia D’souza in the lead roles.

Though the most awaited film of this year is going to release next year, the look is out already and has created madness. We’re talking about Dharma Production’s upcoming film, Agneepath. Karan Johar announced late last night that the release date for the remake of Dharma’s cult film, Agneepath, would be a couple of days after Duggu’s birthday, on 13th January 2012.

When asked if the MMS footage was a hoax, the model said, “It was not fake. Someone shot it during a photo shoot. I actually want to meet that person, because I liked the video. I love it when people download my photos.”

According to Sources, in a period of 45 days she has refused 31 movie offers, as the projects had the likes of Rahul Mahajan and Ashmit Patel as her co-stars and no big guns from the industry.

“I turned down 31 offers in the last 45 days. It was not about the role, but the names involved. I want to act withthe big guns of the Bollywood industry,” boasted Poonam.

“Why should I work with a small production house, when I’m getting offers from big banners?” she added.

Arjun Bhagwat is a Goan ex-cop who earns his bread doing all the wrong and odd jobs. His family was so troubled by their poverty that it became difficult for them to survive. For Arjun, money became a priority and the basis for any job he took up.

Arjun meets Sameer, a Goan gangster who has been suffering a huge loss as his hookers have been running away. He immediately assigns Arjun for the job offering him a huge sum and knowing his skills of investigation as an ex-cop in order to find those girls.

Priya, a young girl who plays a model in the film, is deeply in love with Arjun. However, he is hesitant to admit it as for him the only thing that matters is money. Thru his investigation, Priya does not understand his hesitance in giving a name to their relationship.

Whilst investigating, Arjun realizes that the girls missing are connected by one cell phone number. He decides that in order to catch the lion one must feed him the lamb. He devises a plan that involves sending a girl to that particular customer.

Here comes in Reshma, a young college girl who is into the profession of prostitution in order to feed and support her family. She becomes the innocent prey, and is then sent to the antagonists’ house, Dheeraj Pandey. The unexpected happens as we reveal that Dheeraj is a serial killer who plays a eunuch in the film. He is a sex addict and hence, decides to brutally murder women.

But as fate has it, thru the journey of investigation, Arjun and Dheeraj cross paths. Arjun gets into a tiff with Dheeraj and they both land up at the police station. Dheeraj being the sociopath admits to a crime so heinous that even the police gets shocked by his behavior.

Now it’s all upto Arjun Bhagwat. He has one night to find some proof in order to keep Dheeraj in jail. He needs to find Reshma because he begins to feel guilty about his plan of sending her as bait. He realizes that Reshma’s background is similar to his and hence, feels compassion towards her. Thru his investigation, he meets several people who have had an encounter with this serial killer including his family and a hooker who managed to escape.

Things don’t go as planned and Dheeraj leaves the police station as a free bird as there is no evidence against him. Meanwhile, the next victim on his list turns out to be Priya. The road for Arjun is now difficult. Will he be able to gather substantial evidence? Will he find Reshma and save Priya or will it be too late?

A contemporary tale of traditional massacre erupting in the heartland of central India where certain villages still follow cruel age-old customs. This is where a story of passion, dishonour and deceit unfolds; where the sweet innocence of youth is throttled by uncompromising beliefs.

The film opens in the capital where two youths Ria and Kush fall in love. Meanwhile, news channels highlight the death of Veer and Sureeli who are found dead in Omkar Chaudhary’s village. Ria has no idea that Omkar is her grandfather. Madhur, Ria’s father, had left his native village due to differences with Omkar over the ruthless pratha (tradition) of honour killings. Madhur is chosen to lead a commission to investigate the suspicious deaths of young Veer & Sureeli.

Veer’s father Daulat Singh is a staunch supporter of this pratha and is unmoved with his son’s death. However, Sukhiram, Sureeli’s father, is broken by his daughter’s demise. Will Sukhiram be weakened and reveal all to the Human Rights commission?

Torn between his love for his son and his strong belief in the pratha, Omkar promises Madhur that he would put an end to the ruthless killings in the village.

Ria and Kush are also pulled into the vortex of these inhuman customs.

How do the patriarchs of the pratha respond to these happenings? Does Omkar Chaudhary change for the sake of his granddaughter? These are the questions that the film attempts to raise.

Not A Love Story is a crime/thriller movie based on the gruesome murder of Neeraj Grover in 2008 that led to the arrest of Emile Jerome and Maria Susairaj. Starring Mahie Gill, Deepak Dobriyal and Ajay Gehi and directed by Ram Gopal Varma, the movie is set to be released on 19 August 2011. Ram Gopal Varma has announced that the film is not a biopic but is inspired by the case.

The movie is based on the real life story of Maria Susairaj. The movie ought to stun the audience with amplifying performance by Mahie Gill (Maria Susairaj), Deepak Dobriyal(Emile Jerome) and Ajay Gehi(Neeraj Grover).

Ram Gopal Verma interacted with media along with Music Composer Sandeep Chauta who shared instances from the movie. The film is due to release on 9th August 2011 across the country.
